Did You Know?

Red Tractor farmers care about our countryside. After all, their land is their office and their home, so of course they want to look after it! Fertilisers and pesticides are used only when necessary to keep crops healthy and always in a manner that reduces the risk of pollution and impact on wildlife. To ensure high levels of environmental protection, documented plans and procedures must be implemented throughout the production process.

Competition time with Co-op

The Red Tractor logo is one of the most well recognised assurance logo’s in the UK and we know that Co-op customers are passionate about knowing where their food comes from and how its produced. The Red Tractor logo has pride of place on hundreds of Co-op own brand products across fresh meat, dairy ad fruit and veg lines. Independent assurance that products have been produced responsibly to strict standards and are traceable right back to the UK farm where the products came from is very important to our customers.

It’s competition time again, which today sees Red Tractor partnering with the folks over at the Co-Op. The friendly local store that takes conservation and animal welfare as seriously as we do, the Co-Op has generously sponsored today’s competition with something rather special!
