The Red Tractor celebrated its 10th birthday during Red Tractor Week, which ran from 14th-20th June. The campaign, which was fronted by Janet Street-Porter, has proved hugely successful for Red Tractor, generating significant media and consumer interest on a national level, as well as support from the Government. Red Tractor announces Carling's certification

Carling, the UK’s No 1 Lager1, announced its Red Tractor certification for its barley at the annual Cereals trade show in Royston, Cambridgeshire. Carling now carries the Red Tractor mark on all its multi-pack boxes and will be carrying the logo on its cans later this year.

Clearer labelling starts on farm with Red Tractor

From April this year all the farmers and growers under the 6 Red Tractor Farm schemes will implement these standards that are aligned across all farm sectors for the first time. The review is designed to make sure there is more consistency across the standards in the Red Tractor ‘family’ and consistency behind the Red Tractor logo that all the sector schemes support.

Red Tractor Celebrations- 10 years of Great food & Great farming



The Red Tractor food assurance scheme celebrated its 10th birthday today at a ceremony on London’s Southbank. As part of Red Tractor Week, which runs from 14th-20th June, Janet Street Porter – who is fronting the campaign – was joined by Environment Secretary, Caroline Spelman MP, and David Gregory, Chairman of Assured Food Standards, to cut a giant six-foot Red Tractor cake.

Running from 14–20 June, Red Tractor Week will celebrate 10 years of great food and farming under the Red Tractor logo. 

The Red Tractor logo now features on £10 billion (annual retail sales value) worth of food and drink products. To celebrate this achievement and 10 years of Great Food and Great Farming under the logo, TV presenter, writer and British icon Janet Street Porter, has been brought on board to front the Red Tractor Week campaign.
