Further information has emerged about the serious outbreak
of E coli across Northern Germany. Contrary to earlier
reports from Germany, the source of infection is now
believed to be beansprouts that have been produced locally
in Lower Saxony in Northern Germany. German authorities have
now lifted their warning about fresh produce such as lettuce
and cucumbers which were mistakenly believed to be the
